When booking your newborn session, it is important to remember that babies have their own schedule. This little man was a prime example. Not only did he decide to come a few weeks early, he also had jaundice – something that is SUPER common in newborns, but will sometimes require hospitalization and a short NICU stay. I am always happy to be flexible. Your biggest concern (and mine) is to make sure your sweet baby is healthy – we can get gorgeous pictures once he or she is feeling well!
I find that so many parents are hesitant to book their newborn sessions in advance, because of all of the uncertainties involved. Please don’t be worried! I will make sure your little one is taken care of and that you have a wonderful session that produces beautiful pictures! Once you have booked, I put your due date into my calendar just to hold your spot. However, I do not expect baby to come right on time!
