Meet the newest Shelley Barrett Photography model child, Molly Jo. It’s been a little quiet around here lately because I’ve been adjusting to baby number 4. I had so many plans for her pictures, and then my other kids got sick and all my plans were thwarted. But I still love the images I did get – even if it wasn’t the hundred million pictures I had planned. Molly Jo was born 4 weeks early but luckily was a healthy 7 lbs 6 oz. Even though she was (is) petite, she’s also a plumpy little thing with plenty of rolls. She’s also got some hair – my other three babies were legit bald! I’m hoping my fun with her modeling skills continues for quite a while, but for now, enjoy the cutest newborn pictures!

So I was really excited to do this picture with bright pink glasses – and ordered “newborn-sized” sunglasses. Yeah…… they are a little bigger than anticipated. But we used them anyway and I still love the result – even if it wasn’t quite my vision.

I really wanted to have fun with some Halloween looks since she was a September baby and everyone LOVES fall.

Molly Jo makes all the faces. She has some very intense dreams (we always joke that she is swimming because she will just throw her arms around). She was the most active baby ever inside my belly too so it’s not surprising that her personality is already huge, even during sleep.

Is she a future photographer??

My biggest want was a great picture with all of my babies. I cannot even tell you how hard it was to get this ONE picture.

They are all so photogenic but they have classic “photographer’s child syndrome” and are my absolute worst clients. But we did get some gorgeous pictures after plenty of bribing and threats and now I can pretend that they are perfect little angels, right?
