This adorable little guy was such a trooper for his newborn session in my Pace, Florida Newborn Photography studio. I loved all the colors and the aviation theme mom and dad wanted. For all newborn sessions, upon booking, complete a questionnaire to indicate their favorite colors, looks, etc. for the session. This helps me put together the perfect color scheme and looks. I want you to love every picture we take!

Sweet boy was in the midst of a growth spurt, which is so common within those first few weeks. So he wanted to eat, eat, eat! Our session took a little extra time than usual – but that is why I always allocate and warn parents to expect a possible 4-hour session. Babies will dictate our schedule, and if they need to eat or snuggle, that’s what we do! My typical sessions average between 2-3 hours with family/parent/sibling photos.

Did I mention how much I loved the colors we used for his newborn portrait session in my Pensacola photography studio? My own son has an adorable airplane quilt on his bed and I WISH I had been as good at newborn photography when he was born as I am now, 7 years later!

I am obsessed with the wardrobe choice for the parents in this beautiful Navarre, Florida newborn photography session. I get lots of questions about what should “WE” wear, which I usually answer as the safest choice is to coordinate light-colored white/off-white/beige/tan colors OR dark black/gray colors so that focus is on the baby. But I personally LOVE color, so when parents are bolder, I suggest going for color, and this family did that wonderfully. I love her choice of the polka-dotted shirt with dad’s simple white button-down and then I was able to coordinate the baby boy’s wrap to match the look perfectly!

Family is super important, so I include family images with every newborn session at my Pensacola, FL area studio. We will do a few set ups with Mom and Dad (separately and together) before adding in any big sisters or big brothers. I love to focus on connections with family portraits.

If we can get 25 comments on the blog post, he will win a FREE 8×10 print from his session!
