Lovely Spring Colors!
This beautiful session was one of my first in the new Springville studio! It was so fun to snuggle with sweet little Charlotte while working out the kinks of my lighting and space here. I'm so pleased to offer you the same amazing service and photos in our new location right outside of Birmingham, Alabama. It such a beautiful, scenic, and quick drive over from Trussville and all the surrounding areas. We are just loving all of the gorgeous cherry trees blooming right now with their perfect pink and purple tones!
This sweet baby girl was absolutely perfectly tiny. I just loved her precious fluffy hair. I adore newborn hair when it is always just so fluffy and soft after that very first, fresh wash. And you may have heard about the sacred newborn smell - it is not just a tale, it is really the very best scent in the world.
Yellow is such the perfect Spring color. It is happy like flowers and the sunshine. It has always been one of my favorite colors and I love when I am able to incorporate it into a newborn session. The photos always just pop! Then of course, you can't go wrong with lovely purple tones - from royalty to lavendar purple just makes all skin tones shine.
Finally, my biggest suggestion for parents is to come at least "kind-of" camera ready for your newborn session at my Springville, Alabama newborn photography studio. Although you can get all glamorous, you can also just stick with a simple low-maintenance look. Because honestly, we are focusing on the connection between you and your new baby and that love and glow you will be emitting is enough to make everyone look gorgeous!!! I will never force anyone into a photo, but I always say that I never got photos of myself with my newborns and it is a regret. The excuses are easy to make ("I am all swollen. I don't look my best. None of my clothes fit right. Etc. Etc.") But don't worry - I know exactly how to make you look perfect! We will focus on the connections with poses that are good for keeping the focus on the snuggles, not your waist. I have some dresses that you can use, or you can stick with a simple tank top. Honestly, no one is going to be paying much attention to your outfit when they have such a sweet mommy-baby connection to look at!
